From 1946 The Cannes International Film
Festival takes place in this city. Celebrites form all countries cames to Cannes for the festival. We have got only 2 polish films which won the award: "Człowiek z Żelaza" by Andrzej Wajda and "Pianista" by Roman Polanski.
At this fastival films and actors can win:
The most prestigious award given out at Cannes is the Palme d'Or ("Golden Palm") for the best film.
