The City of Kings

Well.... I decided to tell You something about Reims - beautiful city in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France. It lies 129 km east-northeast of Paris.

Maybe You are interested why did I write the title of this post "The City of Kings". The reason of that name is connected with the history of France. Do you know that this city played a prominent ceremonial role as the traditional site of the crowning of the kings of France? 
The coronations took place in the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Reims (here is the photo↓)

 This cathedral is very simmilar to cathedral Notre-Dame in Paris...

Here you can see the monument of the "Smiling Angel". This statue you can see outside of the cathedral on one of the walls. (angel on the right)
